Annapolis - Saturday - May 7th
On a visit to Marcia who is in Maryland for training for her new position with Bechtel Construction at Xcel - Prairie Island Nuclear, we went to a small boat show on Saturday.
Several vendors were present, but we looked at just one series of vessel, the Catalina series. A 44'er and a 35'er were in the water. Quite nice they were too.
We are waiting to go to the Fall Annapolis Sailboat show which like two years ago, is massive.
A stretch SmartCar type to transport folks about the marinas where the show was held. Nifty ...
I was surprised to see the Selden rigging on the Catalinas used Sta-Lock rigging screws instead of crimping. These can be removed, re-used and the rigging can be repaired any where without special tools/machines. Even at sea.
