Trip 144 - Sunday Afternoon - August 7th
One word. Hot.
We drove down, came back. A nice car ride though.

Now our computer room is the dining room. Here I am staring at Wisdom, Truth and Knowledge. Sure ...

Annie. A Bully that came to us via a neighbor, Rosa.
She has been with us since March of 2003. One of God's creatures with a gentle soul, an indomitable Spirit, and as retarded as they get. She has little resistance to anything bacteria. Her first owner kept her in a pet carrier during the day and night, and then chained her with ten feet of chain to a post to do her stuff. Mean, she was. The owner that is.
One day, that owner got fed up with little Annie, and she came to us. I took her to the back yard and she just ran. Like Forrest Gump, she felt like runnin'. Since then, we had plastic surgery done on her eyes so she can see, and countless tests and horse pills for bacteria related things.
Now, she is facing the twilight of her years and in a few days, we will help her make a trip she no longer can make by herself. Where she will sleep peacefully, beside Axel, Annie, Tootsie, FooFoo, Shadow, Tigre, some squirrels, a duck, two opussums anda few rabbits.
A day, neither of us look forward to. But, for now, she suffers in her pain, in silence ...

My cousin John Hagen. What a sense of humor to this mild mannered, quiet guy.
eMail me who is handsomer and lie if you have to.
Later ...
