Trip 114 - Thursday Evening - Sept 24th

I left on Tuesday night really tired. I decided then, to let thing settle, me get more sleep, and come down to wrestle this thing more refreshed.

Good decision ...

 

Final touch was to swing the engine side to side thru an arc as defined by the prop shaft and adapter.

 

Front and back were moved side to side, this much.

 

I eyeballed the clearance. The idea being to get both gaps within 0.002" of each other. I believe I was close enough as I would also move the yellow adapter on its shaft til it touched one end. Then, eyeball the other.

These parts did a dance all round the rotation every 90 degrees.

In the end, it was looking good.

But, I forgot to charge my battery for the camera and this is the last image of that night.
