Trip 88 - Monday Evening - July 13th

A quick trip down to bolt the engine mounts in place and get the engine assembled.

 

Algae can bloom and collect pending the wind. It had an odor too.

 

I used the original lag bolts. After making a special trip for new long ones, the same size bolt had much smaller threads and the threads were not a sticky. I will return them.

 

I was bright enough to tape the drain hole over so sockets and screws do not find their way into oblivion.

 

Ready for the engine.

 

I greased the gears liberally. This is actually more of a splined fitting, than a set of gears.
